Mr. Taiki Hayashi is a multidisciplinary engineering leader and executive appointed as the Representative Director and Chief Operating Officer of Phemotron Systems LLC in Japan. With a robust background spanning aerospace systems engineering, advanced data science, and corporate strategy, Mr. Hayashi is uniquely positioned to steer Phemotron Systems’ operations and expansion within the Japanese aerospace market.
Mr. Hayashi’s roots in the space industry are deep and technical. During his tenure at the Small Spacecraft Research Center at Osaka Prefecture University, he was a core member of the development team for HIROGARI (OPUSAT-II), a nanosatellite successfully launched to the International Space Station. His hands-on experience in satellite bus development and mission planning provides him with the critical domain expertise necessary to advance Phemotron’s satellite technologies and client solutions.
Prior to leading Phemotron’s Japan operations, Mr. Hayashi established a reputation for technical excellence and innovation at Western Digital Technologies GK. As a Senior Engineer in Test Process Engineering and Data Science, he led high-impact projects in manufacturing code development and data analysis. His contributions to proprietary technology were formally recognized when he was awarded Trade Secret No. 2022-1755 in November 2022, underscoring his ability to drive intellectual property development in competitive tech environments.
Beyond his engineering acumen, Mr. Hayashi brings significant executive and financial expertise to the C-suite. Since 2021, he has served as a Senior Executive Director at RENACIMIENTO Co., Ltd. and a Financial Adviser at United Style Co., Ltd., roles in which he has honed his skills in organizational management, strategic planning, and financial stewardship.
Mr. Hayashi holds a Master’s degree in Marine System Engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering at Osaka Prefecture University, where he also completed his undergraduate studies with a minor in Computer Science. He completed a nanosatellite design course at the Samara Aerospace University in Russia. His academic excellence was highlighted by a Secondary Best Student Presentation Award at the 9th East Asian Workshop for Marine Environment and Energy.
